Which event in your life T.I.M.E. changed your perspective in life?

Each of us have our unique "epiphany/eureka" moments that changes our outlook in life and eventually changes how we live our life.

Events that could change your outlook in life:

-Being in a car accident
-Achieving recognition for making a positive impact to the world
-Witnessing your child being born
-Recently recovering from a life threatening illness
-Enjoying a conversation with a long lost friend/relative
-Winning a contest, sport, event

What does your life changing moments list look like?
How has it affected your life now?

T.I.M.E. is too short...cherish it....enjoy it....share it

Yes we are all born to be entrepreneurs, whether you like to believe it or not.

We are all "walking" enterprises and companies.
The way you dress, speak and act conveys what your company is all about and what it stands for.

What does your personal company stand for and believes in?

Scenario: You have a girlfriend or you are married.
Your Enterprise: You have sold the idea to your girlfriend/wife on reasons why "you" would make a better boyfriend/husband than the next guy.

Scenario: You just got hired to work for a firm
Your Enterprise: You convinced and sold the idea to your interviewer and boss why they should hire you and not the chump outside waiting to be interviewed just like you.

Life is full of sales.  We are always selling our thoughts and ideas.  Obviously it does not always mean that we will be listened to, but it never hurts to try.
If nobody sold their ideas....our world would sadly be a very boring place to live.

So go out there and push and share your ideas to help make a positive impact.

Hedley - Perfect

09/28/2010

What is perfect?
What does it mean to you?

Is it a perfect sunset that makes you appreciate beauty?
Is it the perfect wave that you just conquered as a surfer?
Is it a perfect day because you are thankful to be alive to live another day to the fullest?
Is it the perfect kiss that just melts your heart and makes your knees go weak like jello?
Is it the perfect timing of a warm and supportive H.U.G. because after being through so much hardship and pain...all you ever wanted was a H.U.G.?

What moments during your day or week that leaves you smiling knowing that a "Perfect" moment occurs and you were there to witness and experience it?

Are you almost finished?

Don't stop now my friend.
You can see a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel...so why not keep on going until you reach it?

Excuses:
-Is it because you have a bad experience?
-Is it because you ran out of money?
-Is it because friends and family do not believe in your dreams and ideas?
-Is it because your ideas are not accepted by our *societal* standards?

Action:
-Ask any successful person who did "not" go through rough times.
-Money should never be the issue if you are passionate enough and willing enough to do whatever it takes.  There are many examples of people raising capital/investment because they *believed*
-Who is living your life? You are your family and friends?  Your answer to this question should not take more than "1 second" to answer.  :-)
-Perhaps there were difficult standards to break away from 100 years ago...but that should not be your barriers/obstacles because the status quo is challenged everyday by innovative, creative and passionate people who wants to make a big positive impact.

So remember...

Social Connectivity Spectrum: Which mode of messaging do you use?
How socially connected are you and how do you stay connected?

We are all constantly connecting ourselves to others via all different modes of messaging.
You might be tweeting, facebooking, emailing, text messaging, skyping, talking on cellphones.
Nowadays we have 101 choices of how to connect with someone out there, which is great but do you think certain modes of messaging "degrades" the whole personal communication experience?
Some may say yes and others might say no.  I guess it all depends on who you talk to.

So my questions for you this week is:
1) Which mode of messaging holds more meaning for you?
2) Does the time frame of you getting the message makes it more personal or less personal? More meaningful or less meaningful?

Life is life indeed!
Never let negative energy/people/situations get in the way of you living your life everyday to the fullest.

We are here for such a short amount of time.
Why let all that negativity bring you down.?
There is so much to do in a life time.
So many new people to meet and make friends with.
Lots of beautiful places and cultures to experience.

What does your amazing list of LIFE experiences look like?
How much of that list of you accomplished?
How much more do you want to achieve in life?
If you have not made a list yet.

Make one now.

L.I.F.E.

Live it
Love it
Laugh with it

SUCCESS

What does it look, feel, taste, listen like to YOU?

Just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder....Success means differently for each of us.

I would like to know what success means to you?

Is it having a loving family?
Steady Career?
Finishing School?
Walking for the first time after being crippled in a car accident?
Seeing for the first time after being blind for most of your life?
Living in "this" part of the world where Vancouver allows us all to enjoy nature (beaches, mountains, parks, waters)

What moves you towards success?
What is your "reason" for getting up every morning to be successful?

You gotta be prepared for what life has to throw at you.
Ah yes, its Monday and we all have a fresh start to another week craziness, calmness, productivity, relaxation, new beginnings.
What will you be doing?
Are you prepared?

Life is not all peaches n roses.

You gotta be tougher than life when it gets tough.
You gotta be stronger than your obstacles in order to succeed.
You gotta keep your cool when everything around you seems to be going in the wrong direction and it makes you feel hopeless.
You gotta be ready for negative energy out there and still have the willpower to say "I don't need this" and walk away smiling.

Bend but don't break under pressure.
How well can you take pressure my friend?

When people hear good music, it makes them homesick for something they never had, and never will have.

---Edgar Watson Howe---

If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away.

---Henry David Thoreau---

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.

---Plato---
